I'm Gail
I am passionate about the role of ritual and ceremony to help navigate, record, and celebrate life - from the big occasions down to the small.
Why is this my passion?
It all started when I became interested in death and dying when I got diagnosed with cancer. After I'd finished all the active treatment I completed a course on Rituals, Rites, and Ceremonies and followed that up with Death Doula training. In 2024, I took this interest and study further and I completed training to become a celebrant to officiate weddings (including legally marry a couple in Scotland), funerals, living wakes, divorce ceremonies, love declarations, end of treatment celebrations or whatever you want to make magical.
I believe that ceremonies and rituals offer us a gateway into acceptance or legacy or locking a moment into our memory. They are a way to bring community together, to realise that we are not alone. I am an advocate for conversation about emotions and life events and ceremonies can support us with those conversations.
Ceremony and ritual done well fill our souls, hearts, bodies, and mind. I pride myself in approaching each ceremony or ritual I write or lead with this belief. This means I work hard to make you feel seen and heard and that you are important to me and that it is an honour for me to do this work and support you.
Connection
I know that I am leading and supporting people through change and creating a space where they are seen and heard, they are experiencing connection. And, I use ceremony and rituals working with my body confidence clients to help them love and accept themselves as well as to celebrate what they have achieved.

Celebrant Training
Completed Wedding & Funeral Celebrant training with Sacred Heart Sanctuary in December 2023
International College of Professional Celebrants
Member of the International College of Professional Celebrants.
Supports my Continued Professional Development.
Public Liability Insurance
Fully insured to conduct ceremonies.
The Funeral Celebrant Accord
I have adopted the Funeral Celebrant Accord into my work.
End of Life Doula
Completed End of Life Doula training delivered by Sacred Circle in April 2021.
Ritual, Rites & Ceremony
Completed a course learning about rituals, rites and ceremony delivered by Sacred Circle in march 2021.
Life Coaching
Level 1 Life Coaching Certificate from the School of Natural Health Sciences.
This training helps me support families and clients dealing with change, grief and crossing life's thresholds.
Playing Big Facilitator
I have completed the Playing Big Facilitator's Training with Tara Mohr.
The skills learned on this training help me support families and clients dealing with change, grief and crossing life's thresholds.
Reiki Practitioner
Completed Level II Reiki Practitioner training in June 2025.
Reiki helps to create safe spaces for my clients and families. It can also be given separately as a standalone healing treatment for individuals or groups on request.
Tarot & Oracle Reading
Completed a Tarot Reading course in 2024.
Tarot and Oracle cards are a tool that can provide comfort, encourage self-enquiry or reflection, or invite alternative perspectives to a situation. I find them helpful tools to encourage conversation or discussion with a person who is stuck, at a crossroad or seeking a way to engage their intuition. I am always happy to include a tarot or oracle reading in my work if asked.
